Bubble Trouble

To make bigger and stronger bubbles, use glycerin or corn syrup, to thicken the walls of soap and prevent the water from evaporating. 

Dish soap increases the stretchability and stability of bubbles, by lowering the surface tension. University of Wisconsin explains that more soap means bigger bubbles.

Baking powder is added to bubble solutions to produce carbon dioxide, enhancing bubble-making.

Bubble wands come in lots of shapes and varieties. Or, you can keep things simple with a round loop on a pipe cleaner.

Ingredients

Homemade Big Bubble Recipe

12 cups water
1 dishwashing liquid
1 tablespoon of baking powder
4 tablespoons of glycerin or corn syrup
