Let's Play Hopscotch!

Hopscotch develops physical skills like balance and coordination.

Set Up The Game

1. Draw the Board: Use chalk or tape and create a hopscotch board with numbered squares. Usually, the board has 8 to 10 squares.

2.  Choose an Object: Select something like a stone or a bean bag to toss onto the squares.

Game Rules

-Take Turns: Players take turns standing at the start/finish line.

-Toss the Object: The first player tosses the object onto square one without letting it touch the lines.

-Hop on the squares using one foot in single squares and both feet in double squares.
Avoid stepping on the lines or losing balance.

-On the way back, the player must pick up the object from the square it landed on.

-After completing square one, the player moves on to square two, and so on, until all squares are completed.
